365 Days of Art: Day 172 – Drawing a Cashew

The challenge: Create some form of visual art, no matter how small, each day for a full year.

I forgot how much vacationing with family can take away art time—as it should. If I have to make a choice between doing art or spending time on the back porch watching fireflies and talking with friends and family, I’m going to choose the fireflies and porch time. Tonight, it started raining and the fireflies are hiding, so I’m getting this done early.

I drew a cashew. I’m tired and need sleep, and a cashew sounded great. Here it is: next to the real one:
