365 Days of Art: Day 235 – Finishing the Cassowary’s Neck

The challenge: Create some form of visual art, no matter how small, each day for a full year.

No car line today. My daughter is under the weather, so I had to get the art done tonight. I finished the cassowary’s neck tonight. Tomorrow, I begin the neck feathers. They are black, so I might use one of the new Mars Lumograph 6B pencils that I got yesterday. I bought the 12 pack that goes from 6B to 4H. I like my mechanical, but let’s all just admit that if I want black feathers, an HB isn’t going to cut it. (I probably could have used a 6B on the beak, but I’m not redoing it.)

Have a great Monday, folks!
