365 Days of Art: Day 241 – Watercolor Buildings in the Clouds

The challenge: Create some form of visual art, no matter how small, each day for a full year.

I’m working on a watercolor project from the book, Dreamscapes Fantasy Worlds, by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. Today I started working on the detail of the buildings. This is really a struggle for me. I can’t seem to make my 3/0 brush obey my commands. Yes, I need practice, but I also need a new brush because this one has no point and has a few strands that keep sticking out and making the lines wide. I might switch up to a bigger brush to see if I can solve this.

This isn’t done yet. I need to do another layer on the big picture and I need to do the detail work on the small, hot press one. It’s 10:00, so I’m going to head to bed.

Good night everyone!
