The challenge: Create some form of visual art, no matter how small, each day for a full year.

I got my Covid Booster this morning, and I’m really hoping I can have my fever and aches just through tonight and tomorrow and have it all be over by Christmas morning. Actually, I’m hoping I won’t have any issues with this one, but I fear the aches are coming on.)

Anyway, tonight after my daughter went to bed, I drew a Christmas light. I decided not to do the red elections perfectly, but I added enough highlights in to make it look more real. My only regret is that I didn’t increase the contrast. I probably should have added more layers, but I’m really tired, and I need sleep to get through this vaccine. (My second shot basically gave me aches and a fever all day—the day my daughter graduated from preschool, so that was fun…)

Anyway, here is my Christmas light:

Here is the actual light:

Two more sleeps till Christmas! Good night everyone!
